I had an interesting question from someone who works along side with the police and his only question is :

How does the scheme work along side with online gambling?

I couldn't answer him on the scheme's behalf,

Could someone let me know how to answer that one!

Hello Oliver, sorry for the delay in replying to you.

The Count Me Out Gambling Self Exclusion forms give the excluding person the option to self exclude from remote(internet) gambling sites that are part of the Count Me Out scheme. This service will be further enhanced when a pilot study is launched later this year. This will use the technology developed by Empowering-Communities that will allow a person to self exclude online. This will be the launch of the Count Me Out international database of self excluded persons who will be excluding from internet gaming.
