Q. Wouldn't a national scheme mean there is too much information?
A. No. To help operators manage information on self-excluded persons, each premises will have their own unique self-exclusion photo gallery and self-excluded persons will be given high, medium and low priority status. An additional optional gallery will be made available to each premises entitled ‘for information only’. Persons who have self-excluded in the operators geographical area can be included in this section for monitoring and support purposes only.
Each premises will be able to build and manage their own galleries of revolving images as this will help raise awareness and identification of self-excluded persons. By giving self-excluded persons high, medium and low priority status operators will be able to focus their attentions on the most vulnerable. High priority status will be a person who has self-excluded in the last 14 days or has tried to breach their agreement. Those classed as medium priority will have self-excluded between 15 and 60 days with no reported breaches of their agreement and low priority persons will have self-excluded over 61 days with no reported breaches.
