GamCare Give Support to Under 18s Gambling Self Exclusion Program

We were delighted to receive an email from Gamcare last week in support of our extension of the Count Me Out Gambling Self Exclusion Program to include Under 18s. Eileen Kinghan, GamCare's Marketing Director wrote "Our latest Care Services Report shows that under 18s calling our helplines gambled in betting shops, pubs and clubs and amusement arcades. I would also add that recent research which we and the Money Advice Trust commissioned from Manchester Metropolitan showed that young people were particularly reluctant to seek help so anything that can encourage them to take appropriate action would be a step in the right direction, in my view."
