About E-CINS

E-CINS Enhances Human Networks and Compliments Existing Systems

The original concept for E-CINS came from discussions with police officers working with dysfunctional families and on projects involving vulnerable persons. E-CINS was developed at the request of the Home Office ASB and Youth Crime Team.

Before developing the system Empowering-Communities consulted with several organisations across a number of police force areas. The not for profit social enterprise were given a ‘wish list’ of what practitioners in the field of managing vulnerable persons, Hate Crime, Domestic Abuse, Integrated Offender management, ASB, Youth Offending, Family Intervention Programmes, Offender and Neighbourhood Management wanted. Empowering-Communities then set themselves the task of creating a non commercial system that ‘ticked all the boxes.’

E-CINS is a proven system that creates an environment where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. It enables help and support to be quickly and effectively ‘wrapped‘ around victims, vulnerable persons and offenders.

E-CINS provides partnerships with:

• Improved connectivity locally between the Police, Social Services, Probation and other local agencies, RSL’s and statutory bodies

• No individual user licenses! This operating system is cost effective and facilitates maximum participation
